Asian Elephant Project | Poetry Concerts and Workshops | "Being with Dying" Workshops
In addition to her regular performance schedule, studio work and composing, Jami feels blessed to be involved in three distinct and fulfilling projects:
The Asian Elephant Project provided inspiration for Jami's latest CD, "Hidden Sky," and raises money for elephant care and conservation.For the past several years, Jami has collaborated with poet and "poem-catcher," Kim Rosen to create Poetry Concerts and Workshops that dive into a world where poetry and music become a deep conversation.
And, calling on her past experience as a nurse and health care provider, Jami has recently joined long–time friend and midwife to the dying, Judith Redwing Keyssar RN, to provide music during "Being With Dying" Workshops designed to help us embrace the life and death process for ourselves and our loved ones.
